If you find your fountain nozzle or fittings keep getting blocked up with small pieces of waste or are concerned for the safety of tadpoles or fish fry then the Oase Pump Shield could be the solution. It is effectively a large plastic mesh bag in to which you put your pump. The bag measures 500mm x 500mm and has an opening along one side in to which you place your pump, you then seal this opening with a drawstring and toggle. The bag is made from strong wildlife friendly plastic and has a 1.5mm mesh size so will stop very small particles or creatures.
